Create a clean passport-size photo

Center-crop a portrait to a common ID-photo ratio, then download a fresh digital copy—all without sending it to a server.

Browser-only

The image is center-cropped. Official requirements vary—confirm the current dimensions, background, head position and print rules with the issuing authority.

Prepare the crop before compression

An identity-photo portal may check several things: aspect ratio, pixel dimensions, file format, background, pose and file size. This tool helps with the crop and dimensions. It does not certify that a photo meets the biometric or legal rules of a particular authority.

How to make a passport-photo crop

  1. Choose a well-lit, front-facing portrait with space around the head.
  2. Select the ratio requested by the destination.
  3. Crop and resize, then inspect the framing before downloading.

Always verify the destination

Photo specifications differ by country, document, submission channel and date. Check the issuing authority’s current instructions for physical measurements, eye line, head height, expression, glasses, clothing and background. After cropping, use a target-size compressor if the portal also gives a KB limit.
